Congratulations - SAT dt post

Hi there!!  Popping in to share a card I created and am sharing over on the Stamp Anniething blog today.  I made this card specifically for a bridal shower I was attending using the Eloise Congratulations stamp.

I used the flower image from the stamp set and embossed it with clear embossing powder to create my background paper for the top portion of my card.  I addded some sparkle to the flowers using my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen.

The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.  I used a border die from MFT stamps and added a couple of flowers from my stash to finish off my card.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

I was inspired by the lollipop in Violet's hand to create what is referred to as a "lollipop card".  I used the "Rosettes Zig Zag Edge" file from My Scrap Chick to create my lollipop card.  I created this card with my niece in mind.  Her birthday was July 5th and she turned 16 this year ;)

I colored my image with my copic markers.
I hope you enjoyed our July release!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

 Have a great day!

I had some fun with the background on this card and used some stencils to cut out masks for the beach and waves.  I used various distress inks for my background and then overlayed a sunburst stencil to finish it off.  The sequins are just a mix I have in my stash.

Stop back tomorrow for Day 3!!
I hope you enjoyed our July release!

 Have a great day!

Christmas in July - My Scrap Chick DT

***For Day 1 of Stamp Anniething Release please head over HERE***

Happy 5th of July!!  I hope you had an enjoyable holiday weekend/celebration my USA friends!!  I am sharing a Christmas in July project I created for My Scrap Chick.  The design team will be showcasing projects centered around Christmas all this week.  I am so glad to be working on some Christmas projects this far in advance as I always have such great intentions in the fall/winter to do so many and then the busyness of the season makes it hard to keep up with my goals!  Anyone else feel that way??  So for my project I created some gift bags -

well 3 of them to be exact ;)

I had purchased a set of plain, colored gift bags some time ago from a local craft store with the intentions of creating decorated bags.  I used a few different files from My Scrap Chick for the images on the front of my bags.

I took the images from the front of the "treat boxes" and enlarged them to fit propotionately on the front of the gift bags.  I hope I have inspired you with some holiday projects!  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Stamp Anniethings July Stamp Release Day 1

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of
Stamp Anniething's July Release!
Get your summer party hats on, this release is all about "chillin' and relaxing"

Tony will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we show you  this week!!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I decided my "Tony" should be a bit tan from hanging outside on his tree branch ;) so I chose to work with some darker skin tones.  Since he's been hanging out in the sun I decided to give him some bleached hair too!!  I created my sky background with an older cloud stencil I have and some distress inks.

I hope you enjoyed our July release!

 Have a great day!
