Die Cuttin Divas Guest Designer

Today I am exited to be a guest designer over at the Die Cuttin Divas Blog.  The theme for the new challenge is "Superheros" and this is what I came up with -

I decided to do an easel card as I haven't made one of those in ages!!  My fearless kitty is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' Super Cat Cutting Files.

I die cut an oval shape out of purple pattern paper to make it look like my cat was sitting on a pretty cushion.  My sentiment and the paw prints are from a couple of Craftin Desert Divas stamp sets.

I am going to use this as a thank you card - again another one for the wedding!!  I had so many great people helping me out and I have just the right person in mind for this one!!

Thanks for stopping by today and thank you Georgianna for having me be a part of the Die Cuttin Divas challenge this week.

Hello Sunshine!! - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Blog and I have a card to share -

My card is 5 inches square since I wanted to make my cut file images as large as possible so that they were the focus of the card.  I designed this card to give as a thank you to a friend who recently treated me to my first spray tan ;)  I wanted to cover up some "imperfections" on my legs so that I would look like  a "hot mama" for my daughter's wedding, LOL!!

To create my card I used two files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons -

"Sunscreen Cutting files"
 and

One more look -

I used foam tape to help create some dimension on my card and stamped a cute Peachy Keen face on my sun.  I added a tiny sentiment from a Cardz TV Stamps set.

Stirring Up a Big Thanks - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I have a card to share with you.  As many of you might know now after seeing my card for this past weekend's PPPR blog hop - my oldest daughter is getting married this Saturday.   I have 3 girls and this is the first one to get married :) Anyway, I have been busy making cards to give as thank yous for all of the help we are getting to put the wedding together.  This card is designed for my friend who is catering our desserts.

To create this card I used several images from the "Baking Fun Cutting Files" set.  I just layered the images on top of each other to give the card a fun effect.

One more closer look -

I had the perfect sentiment to go with my card from the Craftin Desert Divas' "Baked With Love" stamp set.  Thanks for stopping by today!
