Stuck on You - CDD dt

Hello there and thanks for stopping by today - I hope you had a great Christmas!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG.  I made my first Valentine's Day card on Christmas, LOL!!  I am sharing it here today with you because the stamp set I used is on special today and the following two days in the Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

Here is my project -

I used the "Beyond Measure" stamp set along with the "Beyond Measure" coordinating dies to create my card.  I stamped the glue image and then cut it out with the coordinating die.  I then stamped the sentiment onto my designer paper.  The "Beyond Measure" stamp set is on sale for an extra 15% off today and the following two days.   You can purchase it HERE.

I also used the following Craftin Desert Divas products to complete my card -
"Fancy Frames Dies" - two scalloped background papers and label
"Pocket Pieces Hello Dies" - notebook paper

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Thank Ewe So Much - PPPR dt

Happy Monday my fellow crafters!!  I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I wanted to share with you a thank you card I made.  I know our family is going to need a lot of these on hand after being spoiled this Christmas :-)

I used this cute little lamb from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Navity 2" cutting files.  I mounted him on my card base which is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "A2 Card Bases 4" cutting files.  I added a Santa Hat to my lamb which I got from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Santa Birdie" cutting file.

I had the perfect sentiment to use which is from Craftin Desert Divas "Animal Antics" stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Christmas Packaging - PPPR dt

Hi there, today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have another project to share creating some more Christmas packaging.
I created a couple of little boxes to use to wrap up some of the smaller presents I have for my girls -

I used the "Gift Box with Window" cutting files to create my boxes.  There are two different sized boxes included in this cut set and I used the largest of the two.  I ungrouped and released the compound path in my Silhouette software to get rid of the window since I didn't want the recipient to view their gift before actually opening the present ;)  Here are some closeups -

I decorated the top of this box using the Poinsettia Cutting File. The file allows you to turn this flower into a 3d element which is what I did.  I popped it up on some foam tape and attached it to the lid of my box.

Here is how the box opens and how much space you have inside -

I created a gift bag!!  Okay, I really didn't create the gift bag BUT I did decorate it!!  I picked up a stack of plain but colorful gift bags awhile bag with the idea in mind that it would be fun to hand decorate them.  Here is a closeup of my decorated gift bag -

To create my decorated gift bag I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Santa Birdie" cutting file and enlarged it to fit the front of my gift bag.  My sentiment comes from Craftin Desert Divas.

This was a fun project and I am hoping to get more done before the holidays :-)

"For Your Piggy Bank"

Today is my turn to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG and I want to share with you a great gift idea I made using an older stamp set that the DT will be showcasing the next few days - "Just Pigcause".

For the month of December we are going to showcase one stamp set a day for three days, while we showcase this stamp set it will also be on sale in the CDD shop, just for those 3 days and then we will showcase a new stamp set for the next three days.

I decorated an envelope to hold money as a gift.  With lots of teenagers and college students in my life, money is a great gift to give!!  My pig and sentiment are from the "Just Pigcause" stamp set which is our featured stamp set today and the next 2 days.  I also used a couple of images from the "Chill Out" stamp set to make it more festive for the holidays.  And then I added a stamped label on the front using the "Tag It" stamp set and coordinating SVG set.

Here is a closeup -

Stop on by the CDD blog for the next couple of days to see what other crafty inspiration the DT has cooked up for you using this set.

Happy Crafting!
