PPPR dt - "Rock On!!"

Happy Monday!! Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I am sharing a birthday card I made for a good friend of mine who recently turned the Big 5-0!!  For her birthday she went to a Def Leppard concert :-)  I thought I would continue with the rock band theme for her birthday card -

I used the "Rock On" cutting files for the title and stars on my card.  For the frame I used the "Stamp Frames" cutting files.

I popped the phrase up on foam tape and finished off my card with some enamel dots and alphabet stickers.  I added a few finishing touches with my white gel pen and Voila!!  a rocking birthday card :-)  Thanks for stopping by today!!

PPPR Shiver Me Timbers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Shiver Me Timbers" blog hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Michelle.  If you missed the beginning of the hop, you will want to head to Lisa's blog.

There are two special freebie files available for free only today and tomorrow (after that it can be purchased in the PPPR store).  The link to the freebie is on Lisa's blog.

Today's blog hop theme is the "Shiver Me Timbers" and the design team will be showcasing projects related to pirates using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files.   Here is what I created for the hop -

I created a card using the "Ahoy Matey Title" cutting files.  I only used the ship and did that by ungrouping the file and then only selecting the ship elements.  I created an offset for my ship to help it pop off the card more and then I adhered it to my card with foam tape.

***There is blog candy for our hop today*** -

To be eligible for the blog candy, please be a follower of each of the blogs on our hop today as well as leave a comment on each visit too.  You can get extra chances to win the candy by "liking" the PPPR facebook page and/or subscribing to the PPPR Newsletter.

Kick Up Your Heels - PPPR DT

Hello there!! I hope you are having an enjoyable Labor Day weekend and perhaps even getting some crafty time in :-)  Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG.   I was able to get in a bit of crafty time in between coats of paint as I am painting my laundry room this weekend.  I have wanted to use the "Cowboy Boot Card" cutting file ever since it hit the PPPR store so I decided to use it to make a feminine cowboy boot card.

It was so easy to put this card together and so fun to use some feminine colors to create it with.  I had the perfect sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps ("Country At Heart" stamp set) and I love that
it leaves the option open to use this card for all sorts of occasions!!

Now if I only had me a pair of REAL pink cowboy boots - I think I could really kick up my heels!!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

Autumn Wishes - CDD dt

Hello there, today is my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG .  I created a card using two of the stamp sets from the August Stamp Release.  I used the "Farmers Market" stamp set for the truck and the pumpkins and one part of the sentiment.  The second half of the sentiment came from the "Autumn Wishes" stamp set.

I created my background by water coloring with distress inks.  I colored my images with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I popped the truck up on foam tape to add some dimension.  Then I popped up the entire image layer with foam tape.

Here are the supplies I used - (the links are in my description)
