"Pool Time" layout - PPPR dt

Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have a scrapbook layout to share with you that I created.  I did a two page spread covering part of a vacation our family took last summer.

I mixed in a few stickers and project life cards that I had in my stash and used a Peachy Keen face stamp on my sun.

I used several different PPPR files to create my layout and will list them at the end of the post

I did a print and cut with the sun that goes on the sunscreen bottle since the cuts would have been quite small.

Here is what I used -

All of the files I used can be purchased HERE in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.  Don't forget to grab this week's freebie (the bikini cut file)!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  I hope I have inspired you to do a summer vacation layout :-)

Hippo Birdie to You

I am back with another card to share with you using one of the new 2x3 mini stamp sets from the Craftin Desert Divas July Release.  I used the "Hippo Birdie" stamp set along with the coordinating (free) SVG files for my main images and sentiment.

To create my card I did a watercolor background using some watercolor paints I purchased at Michaels.  I used the Tim Holtz watercolor paper.  I cut out my grass using the CDD "Outdoor Landscape" dies.  The sun and clouds are from the "Sky is the Limit" stamp set and coordinating die set.  The flower sequins can be purchased in the CDD store HERE.  I added a drop of liquid pearls (green) to the middle of each flower.  I used the primary Spectrum Noir colored pencil set to color in the hippo and bird along with their hats.  The hat on the bird came from the CDD "sweet wishes" stamp set ( I cut it out with the free SVG).

Today is the second day of the Craftin Desert Divas July Stamp Release blog hop - head HERE to begin the hop from the beginning.  There is lots of great inspiration from the design team and a chance to win some free goodies too :-)

I created a shaker card for today's blog hop.  I used an image and a sentiment from the "Chill Out" stamp set.  I cut out the image using the "Chill Out" SVG outline set that is free.  I colored in the cute little penguin with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I cut my oval out using my Silhouette Cameo and then popped that card layer up with some fun foam.  I filled my shaker with some new sequins in the CDD Store - "snow palace".  I added a bow made from some 3 Girl JAM ribbon and then scattered a few enamel dots from my stash on the front and finally, finished it off with some pen stitching.

"Hugs" - PPPR dt

Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I am sharing a card I made -

My goal with this card was to create a simple card that could be used for many occasions.  I never seem to have that kind of card on hand.  I could use this for a thank you, birthday, hello or even a sympathy card.  To create my card I used the flower pot and Gerbera daisy cut files from the PPPR "Spring Garden" cutting files set.  I used some foam tape between the layers of my flower to give it more dimension and then I also used foam on the gingham card layer to create even more dimension to my card.  I added an enamel dot to the center of my flower and used a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Divas "Simply Said" stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  And a big thanks for those of you who visited this weekend during the PPPR "Under the Sea" blog hop :-)

I just love this sea turtle from the PPPR "Sea Life" cutting files.   I popped him up on some foam tape for more dimension.  The coral is also from the same cutting files set.
