Vinyl Calendar with magnets - 3GJ dt post

Hey guys today is my turn to post on the 3 Girl JAM blog and I have a special project to share with you.  This is a calendar that I made for my middle daughter's birthday.  I used several great products from the 3 Girl JAM store.  For my magnets I used 2 of the 3GJ "real life" flair and glued a magnet underneath them.  I used some of the 3GJ "distressed lace" and a vintage button to create another magnet.

I purchased a 12 x 12 inch frame and a template with the calendar already printed on it.  I took out the glass and put the template in front and backed it with the silver chevron paper which is from Recollections.  I cut out my daughter's name in black vinyl and adhered it to the calendar template.  I created a few of my own buttons by printing and cutting some designs in 1 inch circles and then topping it with a clear epoxy sticker and gluing it inside a bottle cap which I then glued a magnet to.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them in your comments.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Hello there, today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog.    I have a card to share with you that I made for a friend who requested a thank you card with a bee on it.  I just love the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Honey Bees" cutting files set.  I used the girl bee and the hive for my card.  I made this card a 5x7 sized card so that my friend would have plenty of room to write on the inside.

Happy Happy Birthday - 3GJ dt

Today is my turn to post for the 3 Girl JAM design team and I have a card to share with you.  I made this card for my middle daughter who recently celebrated her 17th birthday - she is a senior this year, WOW!!! Where has the time gone?!

My card is a Lori Whitlock file from the silhouette online store id #59934. My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  I love the fun, bright colors of these My Mind's Eye "Hip-Hooray" papers.  The sunflower ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Harvest Bundle" goes perfectly with the colors in the design papers.  The Harvest Bundle is perfect for this time of the year as it goes well with both fall and Halloween projects.  Don't forget to use code NE10 to receive a 10% discount off of your 3 Girl JAM order!!  My card fits perfectly with the theme of this month's 3 Girl JAM challenge - Birthday - so you can bet I will be linking it up for that!!
