PPPR design team day

Today is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I actually have 2 projects to share with you today, both of them using the "Holiday Trees Cutting Files"  My first project is a Christmas card.  The sentiment I used is from Cardz TV stamps' "Home for Christmas" set.   I used PPPR's "Sentiment Spots 1" cutting files for my stamped sentiment.

For my other project, I made some hand sanitizer gift boxes to give to my daughters' teachers for Christmas gifts.  I chose to do a print and cut for my tree since I was making several boxes and at a small size.  Again I used Cardz TV stamps' set "Home for Chirstmas".  The hand sanitizer box is from Scraptastical Kreations.

Don't forget to head over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog and check out what the rest of the design team made for today!

Cut It Up challenge #8: White Elegance

Welcome back to another Cut It Up challenge!!  This time the challenge is to create an all white card with only touches of another color - and include a die cut!  I decided to go with a winter/Christmas theme for my card.  I pulled out my Cricut and used this snowflake from the Christmas Noel cartridge.  I used my cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and chose silver as my accent color for my card.  I also used my scor pal to create a couple of horizontal lines to separate my sentiment from the embossed section.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' set, "Christmas Joy".

Now it is your turn - link your card/project up at the Cut It Up Challenge BLOG and while you are there make sure to check out the rest of the design team's projects.

Cupcake Birthday Cards

Happy Monday my fellow bloggers!!  I wanted to share with you a couple of birthday cards I made for 2 of my youngest daughter's friends.  There were two birthday parties back to back so I decided to use the same card and just varied the colors a bit.  I love this cupcake file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birthday Panda Cutting files.

I cut my border strip using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Borders 2 Cutting files.  I used some silver Liquid Pearls to add accents to my cupcake swirls.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Christmas Joy" set.

PPPR Design Team Day

Happy Wednesday and welcome back to another Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team day.  Today I am sharing a Christmas card I made using Santa's Helpers Cutting Files.    I decided to do a print and cut for Mrs. Santa because I wanted to try to make a card that had fewer layers so that it was cheaper and easier to mail.  I did pop up my frame shape but that is the only dimension to the card.  My background paper is from a Recollections Christmas pack from last year.  Both of my sentiments (inside and outside of card) are from Cardz TV stamps' "Christmas Joy" set.

Cut It Up Challenge #7 - 3D Holiday Project

***for the Cardz TV Stamps' "To Die For" challenge post please go HERE***

Welcome back to another challenge with Cut It Up Challenges!!  The theme for this challenge is 3d Holiday Projects.  I love making 3d projects so I was so excited for this one!!  I used a file from My Scrapchick to make my cute little sleigh.  I resized my sleigh to be the biggest I could fit on my 12x12 mat.  I used several layers of cardstock to make this a sturdy sleigh.  I want it to be a part of my holiday decorations this year and plan to fill it with some sort of yummy treat.  My pattern paper is from last year's Recollections Christmas paper pads.  I used some poinsettas from Michaels $1 bin to accent the sides of the sleigh.  The leaves were cut from a silhouette file.

So now it is your turn!!  I can't wait to be inspired by your projects!  Head on over to the Cut It Up Challenge BLOG to see the other design team members' projects and to link up yours!  The prize for this challenge is -

Halloween Goody Bags

Happy Wednesday my fellow bloggers!!  I hope you are having a great week so far and that my East Coast followers are staying safe!  Our family has been sending lots of prayers your way!  Today I wanted to share with you the goody bags I made for my youngest daughter to pass out to her soccer and basketball teams.  I was inspired by Jin at Under a Cherry Tree to use the free font for October from Lettering Delights.

I used the letter "o" from LD's Franks Friends Alphabet and used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut out the pumpkins.  The treat bags are from Walmart in the jewelry making section - they are a nice size for a small treat.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps set "Oct 31st".

PPPR design team post

Happy Wednesday my fellow bloggers!  I hope your week is off to a good start.  I am back with another project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I have another scrapbook layout for you.  I have to say that I am having a great time using Lisa's files on my scrapbook layouts.  It feels so good to get some scrapbook pages done.  As I mentioned before, I had put my scrapbooking on a shelf for about 5 years due to a major home remodel that my hubby and I did (we put a 2nd story on our house all by ourselves).  I have let go of the idea of "catching up" on all those years and instead am working on the "now".   All of my pumpkins are cut from the Pumpkin Patch Cutting Files.  I created the title myself and the borders were in my scrapbooking stash.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check out the rest of the PPPR design team's projects HERE.

PPPR Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' Halloween Blog Hop.  You should have arrived here from my fellow design teammate Jeanne.  If you didn't start with us at the top of the blog you can head over to Lisa's blog to start at the beginning.  Lisa is offering some great blog candy and in order to be eligible you need to stop and visit each person in the hop today.  There aren't too many of us so it shouldn't take long and I don't think you will be disappointed as you see what each of us has made today using some of Lisa's great files.

I decided to make some cupcake toppers for my project.  I did a print and cut using my Silhouette Cameo and the Halloween Critters Cutting Files along with the Halloween Herringbone and Polka Dot Digital Paper.  I used the ghost from the cutting files and some polka dotted paper to create the border around my ghost.  I have really been enjoying Lisa's halloween files because they are cute and not scary.  I am not really into the scary side of halloween :-)  My daughter helped me put the toppers together with some colored toothpicks and my ATG gun.  If you have never tried making cupcake toppers using the print and cut feature of your machine, HERE is a great tutorial.

All of these yummy looking cupcakes were decorated by my youngest daughter and her friend :-)

Here is the lineup for the blog hop in case you get lost or just want to go back and visit us again :-)  Thanks for stopping by today, have a blessed weekend!!
